आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मन:
[Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6, Verse 5]
uddhared ātmanātmānaṁ nātmānam avasādayet
ātmaiva hyātmano bandhur ātmaiva ripur ātmanaḥ
Instead of degrading of yourself, elevate yourself through the
power of your mind. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and his
enemy as well.
This could be understood in this way that, thinking is the
universal set of our deeds. Whatever our acts are, it’s the part of our
flickering thoughts. The mind is fastest as it can even dig into those things
which either are virtual or even doesn’t exist. To control the flickering
nature of our mind, we need to focus on the pattern of our thoughts, as
everything is inter-linked, whether it’s our day-to-day activities or
nightmares. Our experience plays a crucial role and data-rich in diagnosing the
pattern.
