What’s right and what’s wrong? Isn’t it a question of Perception? Being human means that we all need a common ground to live, and that’s what we call- rules, laws, and regulations. One cannot rely on everchanging trends and norms of one’s society or neighborhood. They need something as static and stable, something that is Just and widely acceptable and above all someone who knows about these policies and the one who can follow the common guidelines to resolve conflicts and ensure everybody’s right to live and thrive.
That’s one of the many reasons why we need Constitution, Codes, Courts, Judges, and law enforcers.
However how much is too much?
- It is something that we need to ask ourselves. When these things start becoming a fear rather than assurances?
Abuse of Authority, misuse of power are some phrases that started becoming common in the last decade of media news. Although this was there from a very long time even if people didn’t want to act on it, but now since, the awareness arises, some of us started reacting to such atrocities against common people.
What can we do to make sure everybody gets their fair share of freedom and life? Shall we fight for it? Do we need to be an active part of the system to change the system? Or do we just mind our own business? More brains, more questions, few answers. Harsh! But that’s close to what we have as reality.
